If you’ve visited our little home on the web in the past few days and have noticed some funky formatting, we apologize: we’ve been updating the site. As always, the site works better in a non-Internet Explorer browser (hopefully we’ll get to some IE testing, soon!), but please let us know if you see anything weird (in any browser) and, of course, if you’d like to see any additional features.

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Side Projects and What’s Coming Up

Phillip is hard at work finishing two concert band commissions which will be posted as soon as the works have been premiered during the spring. Noah and Phillip are also concentrating on something very… percussion oriented. And street oriented. You’ll be seeing a new section on the site in time for you to research what your band and drumline will be playing during Fall 2012!

Just for fun, Phillip has started composing new music for existing movie clips. Two have been posted on YouTube so far:

We’re proud to announce the following ensembles are using music from Phillip, Noah, and PiNdrop Music Design for the 2012 Indoor Percussion season:

For an undetermined amount of time, we’ve decided to make all of our exercises and “parking lot” pieces free.

That’s right… FREE!

Each download comes with a license agreement specific to each download. Please be sure you read it! The collection features a wide variety of high-quality stuff… stuff that would normally come at a price. So, take advantage of these offerings and put them to good use!

Upcoming winter season…

As we prepare for the upcoming winter season, we thought we’d share this championship performance by the Patterson High School Drumline under the direction of Spencer Jepson (also a PiNdrop contributing drill writer, by the way). Here, they perform a concert version of Dance Dance Evolution, an indoor percussion show soon to be added to the PiNdrop catalog.

The Beat Factory – James M. Bennett High School

Earlier this year, the James M. Bennett High School Drumline from Salisbury, Maryland, performed a version of The Beat Factory pit music. They wrote their own battery parts and put together a show based on Noah’s theme. They sent us this video of their final rehearsal, sans uniforms, to share.

We’re remodeling!

You may have noticed a few changes.

Firstly, our catalog is becoming a bit more organized with a new shopping cart system in preparation for several additions. Expect to see more downloadable content, which you can purchase online, and more show music to be added as we get further into the summer.

Second, there’s been a slight redesign. You may have picked up on that.

We’re excited about what we’ll have to offer by the time fall hits. We’re also available for custom work, so be sure to contact us if you want something specifically for your ensemble.
